No matter how amazing your surroundings are, how much money or success you have, what an incredible family you built – it won’t stop you from suffering.
Healing needs to start from within. And that’s what „From within“ is all about. We all found ourselves in situations where we are invalidating our feelings because there is someone out there who has it way harder.
What we need to realize is that you are not magically happy just because the world around you seems that way.

Us humans tend to judge based on what’s visible right away, only a few look beneath the surface.
Each person’s success is only the tip of the iceberg. People had to fight very hard to reach this position, it includes sleepless nights, tears, patience and years of practice.
You never know what a person has been through based on the outside, so you shouldn’t judge a book based on its cover.
I’ve seen it happening to me and others so many times. As a female photographer who’s boyfriend has an existing social media audience I’m oftentimes reduced to that. Success only happened because of the help I received and I’m just the person who has to look pretty in front of the camera. What people don’t see is me crying myself to sleep, me getting up in the morning working 12 hours a day to make my dream become reality. Me planning one shoot that includes me as a model one year in advance. Me failing hundreds of times until something good happens.

Life’s an endless journey. There is no destination. Don’t waste your life trying to reach the ultimate end. Instead learn to enjoy the journey that is called life, celebrate yourself for reaching goals or fulfilling dreams. Life can be lived in a way happier way if you worry less about the far future and instead focus on NOW.

“You’re the average of the five people you spend the most time with”. Your environment is part of why you are who you are and that’s what the piece „Adapt“ is about.
Your environment affects which attitudes and behaviors you are regularly exposed with. If you decide to surround yourself with people who don’t believe in what you’re doing you will eventually lose the belief in it too.
As much as it can be very negative this knowledge is so so powerful as well. When you decide to build relationships with people who encourage you to be better, support you and believe in your goals magical things can happen.
In this case I’m talking out of experience. I always thought pursuing art is way too risky and I tried to do anything else but art, but I always ended up at the same point. When I started finding amazing friends that have achieved what I wanted to achieve I gained a huge confidence and felt inspired ever since.
The butterfly in the image doesn’t belong to the given environment and that’s why it freezes and loses the capability to fly. YOU CHOOSE who you want to spend time with

Even if you are in the darkest place (in your mind) you will be able to find the light. And if you cannot find it – BE IT.
Instead of taking this image based on a story line I had in mind I would like to share the actual story of taking this image, because it was filled with chaos and peace. I was on a roadtrip in a van in the middle of Italy. Overnight we stayed at a car park only 5 min from this spot. At 11pm, only 20 min after we arrived there we noticed a very suspicious pattern. Every 5 minutes a car would come to the car park (we were the only ones), stay for 2 minutes right next to our van and leave. Right after the next car arrived. This kept going on for 3 hours until we found out in the morning that this area is pretty dangerous because of thieves strategically operating there. We were so relieved nothing happened, probably one of the scariest experiences while traveling. Right after we were welcomed by the siren view that can be seen on the image. A picturesque tree alley with a crossing deer perfectly captured in the middle. THIS is what makes me feel alive and what fuels my energy. PEACE and CHAOS can coexist right next to each other.
